SEASON PREVIEW:
The Covington Lady Buccs golf program has suffered having the ideal amount of participants over the past few years and in 2025 only four players are on the roster.

Last year the Lady Buccs finished 1-8 due to low numbers of four golfers and lost a senior, Allison Burns, who finished honorable mention in the TRC.

Fortunately, two players return with senior Calligh Edgell having the most experience as she is in her fourth year in high school golf. Edgell had a solid season a year ago as she earned honorable mention in the TRC.

Junior Bella Batdorf was Covington’s best golfer a year ago as she earned first-team honors in the league and her commitment to the sport may lead to another great season.

Two more golfers joined the team, sophomores Kari Anderson and Willow Pellman. Hopefully their talent will help the Lady Buccs take the program to a higher level.
